Motorcycle Diaries Movie Poster

The Motorcycle Diaries is a movie telling the story of “Che” Guevara’s travels in his youth, and how he came to challenge the social and cultural issues in South America that made him an icon.

I approached this project by creating an actual diary that touched on some of the people and events shown during the film. Each memento in the diary was created using traditional and digital techniques, printed, cut to size, and pasted into an old sketchbook that was artificially aged using coffee and tea. The final diary was photographed and used as the main subject of the poster.
